This creates the so called “Moss Touch” which is particularly impressive due to its high voluminousity of the very short and dense pile. The result is a surface effect that is shorter than raising only but more voluminous than the effect achieved by emerizing only. This Moss Touch can further not be copied by applying the processes raising and emerizing step by step after each other.
